Massage Therapy Services and more
An integrative, therapeutic model is designed to best suit the wellness needs of each individual client. A comprehensive variety of specialized techniques may be incorporated into one session, including Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Chinese Cupping, Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy, Specific Injury Techniques, and Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®.
“Jin Shin Do” means “The Way of the Compassionate Spirit.” Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® uses gentle, yet deep finger pressure on specific acu-points and verbal Body Focusing techniques, to help release “armoring” or chronic tension, balance the “Qi” or energy, and improve vitality. This clothes-on method helps relieve stress and trauma related problems. A unique synthesis of traditional Japanese acupressure technique, classic Chinese acupuncture and acupressure theory, Taoist philosophy, Qigong (breathing and exercise techniques), Reichian segmental theory and principles of Ericksonian psychotherapy, Jin Shin Do® Acupressure was originated by Iona Marsaa Teeguarden.
Working with both surgical and non-surgical cases, Ranpreet specializes in treating Rotator Cuff, Low Back, and Cervical Injuries. Each injury requires a different protocol regarding recovery and rehabilitation. Symptoms addressed may include chronic pain, sciatica, muscle spasms, migraines, and numbness or tingling in the extremities.
Energy Medicine Bodywork is a powerful, yet gentle, alternative medicine technique that removes energy blockages, promotes healing and relaxation, and provides new vitality. Energy medicine is part of a broad branch of alternative medicine based on the pseudo-scientific belief that practitioners can direct or modulate energy and can have a positive effect. This method may be performed hands-on, hands-off, and distant. Many forms of therapy exist in the energy medicine realm, including but not exclusive to energy healing, spiritual healing, reiki, qigong, acupressure, chakra and meridian therapy.
Known as the “miracle lamp” for its effects, TDP (specific electromagnetic spectrum) lamps have been used in Asia since the 90’s to treat a number of conditions. The lamps all contain a mineral plate—this is a round plate coated with a mineral formation consisting of 33 elements essential to the human body. When this mineral plate is activated by a built-in heating element in the TDP lamp, it begins to emit FIR (far infrared) waves. Because our bodies also radiate this type of energy, FIR is easily absorbed into our skin as deep as 3½ inches to treat muscle and joint pain.
A free initial consultation is provided to better understand each client's desires, needs, and goals for each treatment. The treatments performed are also recorded and documented to achieve maximum results.
